What types of payment methods do you accept?
Checks, Money orders and we do accept debit/credit cards for rent payment, and any other charges. There is a convenience fee charged per transaction for the use of credit cards that will not be applied towards rent.
When is rent due?
On the 1st and late after the 5th.
Can I mail my rent check in?
Yes, just make sure it is postmarked before the 5th to avoid a $30.00 late fee. Make sure your rental address is written somewhere on the check so that it is credited to the correct account.
What are your late fees?
$30.00 after the 5th and $30.00 after the 10th of each month.
Can I pay rent after hours?
Yes, there is a drop box on the lower right side of the front glass double doors outside of our building. Make sure your address is written somewhere on your check or money order.
If I am going to move, what do I do?
A written notice needs to be submitted to our office before the 1st of the month of which you are planning to move out (click here to obtain the form). You will then need to notify the utility companies and the post office that you are moving. After you have moved out of your apartment, you will need to leave the clean the apartment (click here to obtain cleaning instruction guidelines). After you have moved out, you will need to return your keys to our office and provide a forwarding address, and if you would like, set up a move out inspection with your property manager.
What happens if I have to move out before my lease is finished?
We have a sheet that provides you some information on your options (click here). However, it is best to talk to your property manager to better understand these options and communicate to them what your intentions are.
After I move out, when will I get my security deposit back?
Security deposits and security deposit refund accounting forms are typically mailed about 14 days after move out.
How do I add/change roommates in my apartment?
You will need to do what is called a Roommate Change. The new roommates will need to come in and fill out an application or the vacating roommate will need to come in to see if the remaining roommate financially qualifies to live in the apartment by themselves. Once the new roommate and/or remaining roommate qualify for the apartment, all people involved will need to sign an addendum to the lease outlining who will then be responsible.
